The Rotary Club of Naperville was organized in 1941 as part of Rotary International. It has Four Avenues of Service of which The International Service Committee is part.
In 2009, The Rotary Club of Naperville Charities was established which is the 501c3 entity of the Club through which tax free donations can be made, and through which the International Service Committee of the Club conducts its operations. Global and District grants from The Rotary Foundation enables part funding for The International Service Committee projects. Our Committee is engaged in philanthropic work to uplift people around the world through projects providing education and literacy, safe water and sanitation, providing medical equipment, disease prevention and treatment, economic and community development work. In recent years the International Service Committee is undertaking much larger projects that require greater organization, financing, time for completion, and multiple partners. |

Organizing the International Service Summit is an extension of our ongoing development to bring together many other groups engaging in similar philanthropic work in order to learn from each other through sharing experiences, best practices, and special challenges of working in specific countries. Our goal is to create synergies among participants as they collaborate through sharing manpower, resources, and knowledge gained from their experiences.
